Mission Statement:
Our Mission Is:
- To assist in the use and advancement of all breeds of working cattle dogs.
- To serve as a governing body to track and to record the results of sanctioned competitions for all LSCDFA Members.
- To work towards a common goal of improving, expanding and promoting the full 'skill range' of working cattle dogs, via cattle dog competitions, events and demonstrations.
- To educate, via 4-H, FFA and other like-minded groups, low stress livestock management while maintaining livestock with working cattle dogs.
- To provide a vehicle for monetary support to non-profit groups serving persons challenged by spinal cord injury (SCI, Traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke (CVA), and other disabilities involving the neuromuscular system.
